Life’s a hustle, gotta push to win
Stackin' paper, dodgin' the feds
Hearing whispers, always watchin' my head
Got homies in the pen, others in the dirt
Every day's a fight, proving what you're worth
Seen pain, seen rain, felt the heat of the flame
In this gangsta game, ain't nothin' ever the same
Laid on the asphalt, praying for a sign
If I don’t wake, lord, please make this grind mine
In this life of strife, if my time is up
Hold my soul tight, in your golden cup
Enemies lurkin', always on the prowl
But I'm king of my block, ain't no backin' down
Life's dicey, but the stakes are high
Either roll a six or watch your dreams die
Hood tales, scars, and a life of crime
Yet I dream of the day I'll be outta this grime
But for now, I rep my set, do my thing
In the heart of the city, where the sirens sing
Mama said: Son, get out while you can
But the streets raised me, made me a man
Lost too many brothers, seen too much gore
