Am I the voice, or the one who fears?
I'm falling in confusion (paradox!)
Chasing my own illusion
(Paradox!) it's pulling me apart
Like fire and water in my heart
(Pa-pa-paradox) no way to break this chain
Lost between the joy and pain
Can't escape, can't turn it off
I'm trapped inside this paradox
Every step I take, I lose my ground
I'm upside down, can't hear the sound

But it's fading, out of place
The closer I get, the less I know
Love or hate? I can't let go
My shadow's screaming from below
