Pick myself up from the floor
Gather the pieces of my life
Someone is knocking on the door
It's time to put away the knife
I look in the mirror anxiously
Why am I scared of who is staring back at me
No one hears my silent scream
I'm alone here in this bad dream
No one sees the scars I hide away
I don't know if I can carry on one more day
I am hiding in my shell and say that everything's alright
It's just another day in hell
I doubt I'll ever see the light
I look in their eyes fearfully
