The Same

Benlavain

I was born in a land that you might know
You heard them talking about it on them T.V shows
When happy times didnt come my way
I thought of leaving but hoped for a better day
And wide awake I was dreaming I could see
The meaning of my leaving
Turning to reality
A childish dream knocking on a grown man's heart
I guess I'll never stop until I'll reach the top
My mother always use to hate it
My mother hoped for me I'll forget it
But you know I'm the same
I was born in a land that you might know where money is not freedom
And Christmas never shows\
When happy times didnt come our way
We thought of leaving but hoped for a better day
And opportunities means you have to leave
Over seas higher goals to achieve
And so I did and it's been
And it's been a few good years
So far away but I have never been so near
My mother.

We didnt get our freedom it's something we had to take
