It's been days now, still not a sign from you
So I wait here in the dark while sharpening knives
Counting hours and crows to pass the time
Waiting as the days are turning to years
I've been hanging out for so long, out in these desert hills
And I sit alone here, I'm so tired of needing a ride
I've been wasting years now, and I hope you're feeling proud
Down you go in a blaze of ashes
And all I know is that you have been lying through your teeth
There's always someone there who can take your place
All you are is just a little bit too easy
