I looked in the mirror, and didn't like what I saw
I painted my imperfections, like they were my flaws
But who am I, to say that God got it wrong
Maybe I needed to look at Him all along
Cause if you don't like the skin you're in
Just know they tore His so you could live

God's speaking new identity

But see how that stone, has been rolled away
So there's new life, we get to live in today
Cause death is defeated, so we get to say
